So much done, so much still to do

Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 19:46:11

Harvested the last of the winter crops (well, cabbage and beets). I’ve gotten potatoes planted in Delta beds and bags, tomatoes in Charlie rows 1 and 3, more tomatoes in Hotel rows 1, 2, and part of 4. Rattlesnake pole beans planted in bed Mike for trellis growing. Musquee de Provence squash were planted yesterday in bed Echo in hills. Gave up on bed Golf and replaced it with three (so far) half barrels, where I’ve planted butternut squash. Kilo 1a has Chicago cucumbers planted, and Kilo 1c has Armenian cucumbers. Onions still growing in Hotel row 3, November barrels 1 and 2. Garlic growing still from fall planting in Delta 4 and 5, Charlie row 4, Alpha bags 1,2,3,4.

I’ve prepped bed Lima for planting Calypso bush beans (I also have them interplanted with Hotel rows 1 and 2 tomatoes). Still to prep and plant - Kilo 1e for cantaloupe, Kilo 2b, d, and f for zucchini, Bravo beds 1, 2, and 3 for sweet potatoes. If I can get to it soon, I’ll also rip up some of the front/side yard as bed Sierra and plant corn, and another front/side area as Tango and plant maybe amaranth and sunflowers. Another maybe is ripping out some space area quebec, leaving it fairly dry and planting tepary beans.

Still Soggy Outside

Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 01:54:54

No rain over the last few days, but still soggy outside. Not a lot to do in the garden when it gets this wet, so this weekend I will probably plant another round of seeds inside on the grow station.
